--Buildin' me a small-ish art car and am hoping to add something in the way of flames to brighten it up a bit. Hope to use plumbing fittings, bronze wool and propane to get the initial feel for working with the stuff, as I hear it's relatively benign.
--But somewhere down the line I'd like to delve into building a Stamp controlled bank of solenoid valves to drive something really dangerous. Anyone been down this road? Any tips to pass along?

Re: Time for flames!
Thu, April 28, 2005 - 1:22 PM--Thanks, I'll do that. I managed to meet Waffen who hangs out at Bay Area Motor Club, during the Borg 2 fundraiser last weekend. He's built something like what I have in mind and I got a pile of notes and sketches to ponder. Next thing I've got to do is find a 12v gas-tight solenoid valve that can handle low temperatures and propane, bwahaha!
