we started a build this week with my Rocket club.
12"dia X 13' L 1/9 scale Delta II rocket for PLASTER BLASTERS this year.

Wed, November 11, 2009 - 12:47 PMFascinating! Looked like a loss of stability after booster separation. Any idea what went wrong? Looks like you prolly recovered enough of the rocket to make a relaunch possible without too much rebuilding, yes? -

Wed, November 11, 2009 - 3:14 PMI think not enuf nose weight, but it had a prety complex stabilization system for the upper stage (plexi-glass fold out fins) that may have failed. -

Wed, November 11, 2009 - 3:16 PMI had to leave the event befor the launch, so I havent seen it yet. The plan was to launch it Lucerne Dry Lake bed at the next event.
